Aventura Dental Excellence is now seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant in beautiful Aventura, Florida!

As a  Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

 

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule with 1 hour lunch breaks:

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday 10:00am - 7:00pm

1 Saturday per Month 8:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dentists chairside
  • Welcomes patients
  • Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
  • Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
  • Instrument sterilization according to regulations
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

  • Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Required
  • X-Ray Certification required
  • Organized Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of dentistry experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred
  • Polished, professional, organized, multi-tasker 
  • Ability to be proactive in work
  • Ability to present treatment plans to patients
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with great positive energy, empathetic, kind and outgoing
