Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions
- Perform general dentistry procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, endo, etc.)
- Deliver exceptional patient care and build strong patient relationships
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Lead and collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety protocols
Qualifications
- DDS/DMD degree from US accredited dental school
- General Dentist with Pediatric experience or Pediatric Residency trained
- Active Texas dental license in good standing and applicable certifications
- 3-5- years professional clinical experience
Practice Description
Joy Pediatric Dental Center
- Privately owned building with separate Pediatric entrance and pass through to Joy Dental Center
- Dedicated pediatric wing with:
- 3 hygiene chairs
- Surgical/sedation suite
- Pano with ortho attachment
- Cethlemetice ortho X-ray capabilities
- Staffing model: Pediatric side has its own front desk , and operatory team, with administrative float support between our general and dedicated pediatric area.
- Starting schedule: 2 days/week, with growth to 3–4 days/week based on demand.
- Patient age range: 2–12 years
- Visit length: 30-minute appointments
- Sedation certified candidates preferred
Growth Potential:
- Untapped pediatric patient base within a 5-7 mile radius of our practice
- Existing general practice sees a high volume of patients under age 12 will transfer.
- Immediate marketing plan in place to drive awareness and increase new patient flow.

Insurance & Patient Base:
- Large # of pediatric patients currently in our general practice to reassign to our new pediatric dentist
