We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Every other Friday 7:00 am - 12 noon

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks accurately and as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain the highest of OSHA standards
• Makes efficient temporary crowns
• Take efficient and diagnostic X-rays

• Communication skills – Clear, compassionate communication with patients and the dental team.

• Empathy and patience – Helping nervous or anxious patients feel at ease.

• Teamwork – Working well with dentists, hygienists, and other staff members.

• Customer service orientation – Providing a welcoming, positive patient experience.

• Attention to detail – Accuracy in tasks like charting and sterilization.

• Manual dexterity – Steady hands and good coordination are critical when assisting in the mouth.

• Time management – Staying on schedule and handling multiple responsibilities.

• Adaptability – Flexibility to handle last-minute changes or emergencies.

• Professionalism – Reliable, ethical, and maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA compliance, etc.).

• Strong work ethic – Punctuality, reliability, and a willingness to take initiative.

• Active Tennessee dental assistant license 
• Dental Assistant training/school certification 
• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
