We are seeking a new Full Time Experienced Cosmetic Dental Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

 

Our comprehensive cosmetic dental practice is seeking the right candidate with experience regularly assisting in technical, high-value cosmetic and full-mouth restorative cases.

 

Full Time Experienced Cosmetic Dental Assistant Schedule:

Tuesday through Thursday 6:30AM - 3:30PM and Friday 6:30AM -2:30PM

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dentists chairside
  • Welcomes patients
  • Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
  • Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
  • Instrument sterilization according to regulations
  • Maintains accurate patient records
  • Lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of current experience regularly assisting in technical, high-value cosmetic and full-mouth restorative cases is required
  • Experience fabricating aesthetic provisional restorations
  • Meticulous utilization and understanding of dental materials
  • Adherence to high standards and protocols
  • Ability to work independently while following doctor guidelines and standards at all times
  • Self awareness of professionalism when engaging with and speaking with patients and team members
  • Elevated chairside delivery with patient and doctor
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply high-level technical skills: e.g.-professional grade digital clinical photography and records for full-mouth rehabilitation cases
  • Successful treatment planning, presentation, and case-acceptance of comprehensive cosmetic cases
  • Responsible management of time and ability to keep appointment schedule on track
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Experience with digital software, Denticon preferred
