Overview

Our newest affiliated partner practice in Baltimore is seeking a dental hygienist to join their general dentistry practice and enhance future growth. 

 

The practice features a newer Kodak 8000 pano, digital x-rays, CEREC and an iTerro scanner. The new hygienist will be onsite Mon/Tue – 8:00 am – 4:30pm, Wed – 7:30am – 4:30pm Thurs – 8:00am – 4:30pm with a daily one hour lunch break.   As the second hygienist in the practice you will collaborate with a tenured staff and work out of a single column daily.

Responsibilities

  • Screening patients during check-ups
  • Reviewing patient's history
  • Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
  • Documents area of existing restorations
  • Use of X-ray
  • Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
  • Conduct screenings
  • Assist patients with oral hygiene

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland Hygienist license
  • Current BLS/CPR certifications
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
  • Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
